Bureau Suite 1 / South Broadway / 507 lane
(507) 555-0158Olmsted · Lane 3 · ferrule finish
Ferrule Fit is a license bureau with four numbered lanes. Tovah dry-fits. Reed recuts. Marnie polishes. A proud collar that still shows a step is how Rochester necks collect grit after Silver Lake wind. Lane 3 will not laminate over a gap.
Lane 1
Tovah seats the ring without glue. Daylight is a fail. Photographs are not evidence.
Lane 2
Reed checks whether the collar meets the hosel without a step. Zumbro thaw will find a step you ignored.
Lane 3
Marnie trims a proud ring or rejects a thin one. Kindness is not a finish.
Why a bureau
People walk over from the campus traffic with a black ring they liked in a box. Color is not a seat. Rochester winter will shrink a cheap collar that looked flush in June. Soldiers Field wind then packs grit into the step the laminate tried to hide.
Suite 1 opened in 2016 because Tovah Lindstrom was done watching Broadway players polish a gap and call it finished. The chevron is original. The yellow laminate gets replaced whenever someone peels it as a souvenir.
Heard at the chevron
Reed held my 7-iron to the window. Daylight. I had been blaming Quarry Hill dust. The dust was only moving in.
They asked if I play Silver Lake in pelican season or Cascade when it is empty. I said whenever. Marnie issued two lane slips. The chevron does not do whenever.
